It All Started With a Dumpling and a Dream…
Dumpling Drop began in the kitchen, during a time of change and care. When Tarn’s mother, Toom, lost her job due to Alzheimer’s, the two began spending their Fridays together making dumplings—an activity that brought comfort, connection, and helped keep Toom’s mind engaged.
At first, they shared their dumplings with friends, family, and local pop-ups around Victoria. But the response was overwhelming—word spread quickly, and soon the little project that began as a form of healing blossomed into something much bigger.
From those humble, heartfelt beginnings, Dumpling Drop was born. For more about Our Story, please visit our Press page.
